Grand Prix Chair by Arne Jacobsen for Fritz Hansen
Model 3130 was introduced by Fritz Hansen in 1957 at the Designers' spring exhibition (Kunsthaandværkernes Foraarsudstilling). Later that year, the chair was awarded the 'Grand Prix' at the Triennale in Milan. The chair has 'adopted' the name of the award and always retained.
