A beautiful and functional teak sideboard by Kai Kristiansen, assembled in Canada.

Kai Kristiansen's storage solutions were some of the most functional that were designed.
This sideboard which is rarely seen is no exception. Its a straight forward design with four stacking drawers on one end, and two doors on the other that conceal plenty of storage area with adjustable shelves.
The signature "eye" shaped handles on the drawers add a nice whimsical touch.
I would say Smiley mouth shape, too.

Of note are the solid oak drawers and drawer fronts assembled with dovetail joinery, which are just outstanding. The teak has a wonderful patina and beautiful orange hue. This piece would work well as either an entertainment unit for use with your flat screen or in a dining room setting.
