"Vex-8" is a contemporary throw back to the mid-century beginnings of plastics in art, and inspired by the iconic Turner mirrors of the 1960s. 

A custom mould was made to vacuform acrylic mirror sheet to it. The material is exposed to high heat to produce the cracking effect. This piece sits in a 1 3/8" deep brushed aluminum frame, backed in black bristle board. Includes hanging hardware and stand-offs.

The look of this piece is always changing with the light, and broken reflected images add interest.
